Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an Admin Nursing Coordinator (House Supervisor) for weekend, part-time coverage. The role focuses on coordination of nursing staff, prioritizing clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring quality patient care across units.

The incumbent will participate in rounds, respond to emergencies, and support nurse managers in staffing decisions. The position requires a BSN (Masters preferred), 5+ years RN with leadership experience, and certifications in ACLS/BLS/PALS with

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN required, Masters preferred.
• TNCC required within six months of hire if working at RMC campus only.
• AHA ACLS-Adv Cardiac Life Support, AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, AHA PALS or must obtain within 6 months of hire date.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required (or must obtain by end of orientation).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond quickly in fast paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in identifying clinical and administrative priorities.
• Coordinates staffing and reviews staffing patterns for next shift.
• Makes rounds to assess quality of nursing care and patient needs.
• Responds to emergencies and codes and coordinates activities.
• Communicates concerns to appropriate staff and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Collaborates with nurse manager to oversee new employees and resolve staff issues.
