Job summary

Mercyhealth is recruiting a Program Nurse Specialist to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing programs that support accreditation and quality care. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive patient-focused outcomes across the program.

Responsibilities include coordinating care pathways, supervising program activities, and educating staff on standards of care. Strong RN experience, BSN, and EMR proficiency are required, with Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in clinical nursing with required program specific patient population.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required; will consider candidates currently in an accredited BSN Completion Program.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to program-specific patients and families.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary services and documentation.
• Monitor adherence to program standards and accreditation guidelines.
• Develop and implement care paths for program-specific patients.
• Lead program steering and operational meetings.
