Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead professional nursing care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure regulatory compliance on the unit. The role requires oversight of education, performance evaluations, and administrative duties as designated by the unit director.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact jurisdiction, and have at least 2 years of charge/clinical coordinator experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure must be maintained.
• At least 2 years of experience in a charge/clinical coordinator setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing care and supervise RNs, LPNs, students, and non-professional staff.
• Ensure unit operations meet regulatory requirements and standards.
• Participate in staff education and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate patient care and manage multiple priorities with sound judgment.
