Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, while maintaining accountability and protecting patient privacy. You will coordinate care with other departments and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements include graduation from an approved school of nursing and an active RN license in the hiring state, with BLS required and other unit-specific certifications potentially required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN).
• Must obtain and maintain current RN license in selected state.
• Basic Life Support certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintains accountability.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and protects patient privacy.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and supports Mercy Service Standards.
