Job summary

Silver Key Thrift Store in Colorado Springs seeks a Retail Coordinator to support daily operations, customer service, and volunteer supervision during 24-28 hours per week.

You will serve as a key holder, uphold SOPs, train volunteers, and ensure accurate donation processing and cash handling, reporting to the Retail Supervisor and Director of Retail Operations. This role appreciates warmth, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced, community-focused retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two+ years retail and cash handling experience.
• Two years volunteer leadership experience.
• Additional college coursework in business/retail management preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides a warm, organized store environment and exceptional customer service.
• Serves as key holder and leads store operations during shifts.
• Upholds all SOPs consistently.
• Trains, supports, and directs volunteers for day-to-day operations.
• Maintains donation processing and daily production expectations.
• Manages DME processing, pricing, and storage.
• Performs daily cash handling, register reconciliation, and deposits as assigned.
• Collaborates with Retail Supervisor and Director of Operations to implement store changes.
