Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor in Shelby Township, MI. You will process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet daily production goals while supporting community programs.

Training is provided, with ongoing coaching and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays and a friendly, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift or move merchandise.
• Teamwork and basic communication skills.

Responsibilities

Location: Shelby Twp MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
