Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in South Lyon, MI is seeking a motivated Retail Store Processor for part-time work. You will sort, tag, and price donated merchandise, assist with production goals, and help keep the store organized.

This role offers paid training, on-the-job coaching, and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills while supporting community programs through donated goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Retail or thrift store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.
• Help track and report production numbers.
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor.
• Receive trucks and assist to load/unload and move product to the correct departments.
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces.

Location: South Lyon MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
