Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price donated merchandise and support the store's daily production goals.

You will work 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Paid training and ongoing coaching are provided, with a team-focused environment and opportunities to develop retail and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or current pursuit of one.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach and lift or move merchandise.

Location: Sterling Heights MI Pay: $14.73 - $17.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
