Job summary

Salvation Army Kroc Center in Detroit is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price, and stock donated merchandise. You will help track production numbers and move goods to the sales floor, supporting team goals and community programs.

The role offers paid training, ongoing coaching, and opportunities to build retail and customer service skills, with evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach and lift or move merchandise throughout the day.

Location: Detroit MI
Pay:$13.73 - $15.73 per hour
Job Type:Part-time
Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correctdepartments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
