Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Patrol in Roanoke, VA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a visible presence at a retail location.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security concerns, policy violations, and hazards; report observations to site contacts or leadership.
• Document incidents and patrol activities accurately and promptly per site procedures.
