Job summary

Allied Universal Roanoke, VA is seeking a Full-Time Security Guard Patrol Driver. You will serve clients across Retail/Malls, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

This driving role requires a valid driver's license, a background check, and a drug screen. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday evenings, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license per policy.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activities, report concerns to leadership.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate information to site leadership.
