Allied Universal, Roanoke’s trusted security partner, is seeking a Part-Time Driving Patrol Security Officer in Roanoke, VA. You will perform unarmed vehicle and foot patrols at a utilities site, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and safety protocols.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform security-related procedures and incidents with calm, clear reporting.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by performing security procedures and following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols of utilities buildings and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity and maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
• Complete logs and incident reports per site procedures.
