Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, across grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes and collect data on display locations and shelf stock.

The base hours range from 4 to 7.5 per week per store, with occasional extra hours for special projects, including holiday weeks. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods while accessing store products.
• Lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes in multiple store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Participate in Custom Projects which add 30 minutes to 2 hours during peak weeks.
• Report to stores within the described deadlines and maintain data quality.
