ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Columbus, OH. You will visit multiple local stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles, contributing to sales performance insights for the retailer.

You'll use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes and may need to quantify roughly 45% of products scanned. The role offers flexible hours and paid travel, with opportunities across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass retailers.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and record quantities for about 45% of products scanned.
• Perform in-store data collection across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.
• Complete weekly displays scanning and participate in Custom Projects adding 1–2 hours when requested.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality work.
