Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Cincinnati, OH. You will visit a rotating set of local stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles, using a mobile app to collect data.

We offer flexible hours (9–15 hours per week across all stores), paid travel at your hourly rate, 401(k) with employer matching contributions, and a referral program. You should be 18+, have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• This role involves in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.
• You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes in various store locations.
• You may be asked to provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products.
• Adhering to weekly deadlines is critical to deliver data to clients.
