ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores and perform in-store data collection by scanning barcodes on displays and shelves. You will work across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise environments, supporting clients like Walmart and Kroger.

The role emphasizes independence, flexible hours, and steady weekly tasks. As a part-time on-site position, you'll lift up to 25 pounds, travel between store locations, and use a mobile app to complete scans.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes.
• Perform Display Scanning across the entire store weekly; may take several hours.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of products scanned.
• Submit scans and data within weekly deadlines; ensure accuracy for clients.
• Participate in Custom Projects when requested; may add 1–2 hours per week per store.
