Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles. The role offers meals of independence, flexible hours, and periodic travel compensation. Expect 4–6 hours per week across multiple store types with weekly deadlines and monthly performance feedback.

You will use a smartphone app to scan barcodes and report back quantities for about 45% of scanned products, with opportunities to work on Custom Projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle and state required auto insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods while moving through stores.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout each store.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Assist with Custom Projects that may add 30 minutes to 2 hours weekly.
