Job summary

Scanscape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers and scan product barcodes to improve store performance. You’ll work flexible hours across assigned stores, with weekly deadlines and independent work in a day-to-day role.

The job includes standing for long periods, physical activity, and periodic additional projects. Compensation is hourly with benefits and travel support.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers each week for 52 weeks.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products weekly.
• Meet weekly deadlines and complete displays scanning across the store.
• Assist with Custom Projects that may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store.
