Scanscape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores, scan barcodes, and collect data to improve product performance for retailers. The role supports a flexible schedule with 5–11 hours per week plus additional hours for special projects.

Work involves standing, walking, and data entry via a mobile app. Travel is paid at your hourly rate, and benefits include paid sick time and 401(k) eligibility.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet high, and bend/stretch.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in-store.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Work with multiple store types including grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store every week, often taking several hours.
• Contribute to Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per week per store.
