Job summary

ScanScape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly and scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles. You’ll use a mobile app to record data that helps retailers optimize sales and shelf performance.

Weekly hours average 9–14 across all stores, with occasional 1–2 extra hours per store for special projects. Travel is paid at the hourly rate, and the role offers flexible scheduling and 52-week continuity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with state minimum insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach heights.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated local stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to perform scans and report quantities for a portion of products.
• Work across multiple store types (grocery, drug, mass retailers) with flexible scheduling.
• Average 9–14 hours per week across all stores, with additional hours for special projects.
