Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly and scan product barcodes on Displays and aisles. You will use a mobile app to collect data for major retailers across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise outlets.

Base hours are 3–5 per week with additional project work; travel is compensated. This role supports flexible scheduling and offers long-term part-time employment with potential benefits.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and reach products throughout the store.
• Lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech savviness and comfort with a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections weekly at assigned local retailers (52 weeks/year).
• Scan barcodes using a downloadable app on a smartphone.
• Work with grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merch retailers.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products when required.
• Complete Display Scanning in the store and handle occasional custom projects.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data accuracy for clients.
