Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly and scan product barcodes to help improve retailer sales performance. The role emphasizes independence, flexible scheduling, and steady, light physical activity in a retail environment.

You'll use a mobile app to scan barcodes, collect data, and complete weekly tasks across grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores with major brand retailers. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach heights.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in-store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products each week.
• Complete display scanning across the store weekly, possibly taking several hours.
• Engage with major retailers and handle routine data collection for clients.
