Job summary

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit stores to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. Data collected is analyzed to improve product performance for retailers.

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers independent work, flexible hours, and consistent weekly tasks across grocery, drug, and mass retailers. This role requires standing, walking, and physical activity throughout shifts, with emphasis on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and provide product quantities when required.
• Collect data to help improve sales performance for retailers and brands.
• Work structure includes part-time hours with variable weekly workload across stores.
