Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes on displays and in aisles. This role involves data collection for multiple retailers and requires reliable transportation and the ability to stand and move throughout shifts.

You will use a mobile app to scan items, report quantities as needed, and support weekly scanning tasks across grocery, drug, and mass retailers. Flexibility in scheduling is a key benefit.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in various store locations using a downloadable app on a mobile phone.
• Provide quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.
• Report to your store within the described deadline.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store weekly; this can take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects when requested, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store during peak weeks.
