ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The data collected is analyzed to improve sales performance for the product and retailer.

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers independence with flexible hours and ongoing work. The role involves physical activity and requires reliable Wi‑Fi and a basic smartphone app for barcode scanning.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and reach overhead.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi and tech skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes.
• Collect data to improve product and retailer sales performance.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across multiple store locations.
• Complete in-store scanning and provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines and work independently.
• Handle occasional special projects and flexible hours.
