Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores for in-store data collection and barcode scanning. The base hours average 2–4 hours per week across all stores, with additional hours (1–2 hours per store) for special projects throughout the year.

Flexible scheduling is offered, with more demand Jan–Jun and continuous activity during shifts. Associates use a mobile app to scan barcodes and report quantities for a portion of products weekly.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Reliable Wi-Fi access.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks.
• Scan barcodes with a mobile app across store locations.
• Work with major brand retailers and other national chains.
• Maintain timely weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients.
• Participation in Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours per week.
