Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly for barcode scanning and data collection. The role involves in-store tasks across grocery, convenience, and other retailers, with independence and flexible hours based on client needs.

Physical activity is required, and full scheduling is discussed during interview. Training covers scanning apps and weekly deadlines, with opportunities for additional project work throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle and insurance.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi and basic tech skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned retailers every week, year-round.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in stores and aisles.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products weekly.
• Complete display scanning across the store each week.
• Support custom projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours during busy weeks.
