Job summary

ScanScape hires part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit a designated selection of stores each week, scanning barcodes on displays and in aisles. The base hours average 6-13 per week across all stores, with additional 1–2 hours per week per store for special projects. Scheduling varies by store size and workload, with January–June busier.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet and bend/stretch.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store barcode scanning across grocery and convenience stores.
• Collect data using a mobile app and report weekly.
• Handle weekly deadlines and complete Display Scanning across the store.
• Work on Custom Projects adding time per week as needed.
• Maintain dependability and quality in data delivery to clients.
