ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles. The role offers flexible hours with a small average weekly load across stores, plus extra projects during the year.

Responsibilities include in-store data collection, barcode scanning via a mobile app, and delivering accurate weekly data. The job emphasizes independence and consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products in-store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Scan barcodes using a downloaded app on a mobile phone in many store locations.
• Provide the quantity of approximately 45% of products scanned each week.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store weekly, which may take several hours.
• Undertake Custom Projects for product details in main stocking locations, adding 1–2 hours per store weekly.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high quality, accurate data.
