Job summary

FirstCash in Texas is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate who will greet customers, assist with sales, pawn and loan inquiries, and maintain a welcoming store floor.

The role offers competitive hourly pay of $11.00–$14.00 plus commission up to 8%, flexible hours, earned wage access, employee discounts starting day one, vacation & Sick/Personal time based on tenure, and 401(k) auto-enrollment after 6 months. Training provided.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays
• Firearms in FFL locations; certification provided
• Strong customer service and team mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; checkout systems experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries
• Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth customer experience
• Process sales and loan activity accurately while following guidelines
• Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays
• Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly
• Support store operations, including opening/closing tasks
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members
• Complete required training and follow company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
