Job summary

FirstCash is seeking entry-level, part-time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate at pawn store locations nationwide, including Texas. You will greet, engage, and assist customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions while handling a wide range of merchandise.

Earn $11.00 to $13.00 per hour plus commission up to 8% of personal gross profit; Earned Wage Access and 401(k) available after enrollment. Flexible hours around store needs, weekend work, discount programs, and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays
• Cash handling experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to develop a rapport to better provide and recommend appropriate financial solutions
• Performs non-management open/close procedures
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains the display of merchandise
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements
• Answers incoming calls per company standards
• Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of the pawn and buy transactions
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience
• Successfully completes the assigned training
• Other related duties, as assigned
