Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Retail Manager to lead and champion a high-performing selling culture at Store 4041 Washington Rd, Ste 300, McMurray, PA. You will oversee front-end and service operations, coach team members, and ensure brand standards and SOPs are followed for a strong customer experience.

Responsibilities include supporting Manager-on-Duty coverage, managing POS systems, and driving omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery while promoting loyalty

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds and perform stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors, driving conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems, supporting smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, birthday parties).
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service in Knit & Sew Shop and Cut Bar experience.
• Ensure efficient execution of BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
