Job summary

Marshalls in Richmond, VA, part of The TJX Companies, is seeking a team member to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience. You’ll engage with customers, ring purchases, and uphold store standards while supporting merchandising and loss prevention initiatives.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting in store recovery, and promoting loyalty programs. The role requires flexibility and strong communication, with opportunities to contribute to a collaborative retail

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodations.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with customers.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Accurately rings purchases and returns per procedures.
• Maintains merchandising standards and prepares merchandise for the sales floor.
• Supports store recovery and maintains cleanliness of the store.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
