Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks team members to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role may be cross-trained across store areas to support business needs.

Key duties include ringing transactions, promoting loyalty programs, and upholding merchandising standards while following procedures and safety guidelines. Past retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with customers.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Process transactions and handle returns according to procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards and prep merchandise for sales floor.
• Support store recovery and cleanliness throughout the day.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
