Dollar Tree in Plano, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and develop the store team.

You will assist in merchandising, payroll, scheduling, loss prevention, and ensure compliance with company policies. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention; record-keeping duties.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restocked, and presentable; manage bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
