Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II for part-time work in the Norridge, IL area. You will assist with daily store operations, merchandising, and customer support while maintaining a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires lifting, cash handling, and strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for customers and team members. You will be fully cross-trained to support cash registers and front-end duties, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift between 30 and 50 lbs and be able to stand, walk, and perform physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, from merchandising to customer support.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register and ensure cash security.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the store and restrooms.
• Provide a welcoming, respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Support front-end duties as needed and stay cross-trained.
