Job summary

Michaels in Des Moines–Ankeny, IA is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure fast, accurate checkout. You’ll assist with truck unload, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep an in-stock, well-merchandised store.

Active in rewards programs and BOPIS/SFS processes, you’ll support a seamless shopping experience. The role requires flexibility for standing, moving throughout the store, and lifting as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planograms (POGs).
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock conditions, and merchandise returns.
