Job summary

Dollar Tree Magnolia Store is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and merchandise organized.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, replenishing stock, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and colleagues. This role emphasizes teamwork and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
