Job summary

Family Dollar in Richmond, ME is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and ensure cleanliness and safety.

The role is part-time, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior retail or customer service experience is preferred. This position offers opportunities to work with a friendly team and contribute to store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/consumer service experience in similar settings preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors tidy, and areas neat.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
