Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist shoppers with questions, process sales at the register, and help maintain a safe, welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and keeping areas clean and presentable. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer-service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, and bending.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and merchandise replenished.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
