Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

We value strong communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. This role is part-time and located at 10982 River Rd, St Rose, LA.

Qualifications

• Retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash removal.
