Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Tennessee LLC in Evensville, TN is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe for customers and teammates.

The role requires strong communication and organization, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and prior retail or service experience. Training is provided with opportunities for growth in a busy neighborhood store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
