Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

This part-time role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30-50 lbs as needed while providing friendly, professional service to shoppers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar setting is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
