Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Brownstown Township, Michigan is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and coworkers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
