Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC in Richmond, VA is hiring a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers with questions, process transactions at the register, and maintain a safe, friendly store environment.

You will stock shelves, unload trucks, keep areas clean, and support daily operations with strong customer service, organizational and communication skills. This role offers part-time hours and opportunities to grow within the store network.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Able to stand and walk frequently and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Able to read and interpret operating documents.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks.
• Keep store clean and presentable, incl. bathrooms.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers and team.
