Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Fredericksburg store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, keep the store stocked, and help unload deliveries while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional interactions with customers and coworkers, with responsibilities including basic shelf replenishment and merchandise recovery throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
