Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Wisconsin LLC in Durand, Wisconsin, is looking for a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

This role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and meet daily store duties. Flexible scheduling offered within a growing retail team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
