Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Wisconsin LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, process transactions, and keep the store clean and stocked.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable cash handling, and friendly, professional interactions with customers and colleagues. This position requires physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and frequent movement throughout the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
