Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in a retail environment. You will assist customers with questions, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering friendly service.

This part-time role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and you will be trained to meet store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive movements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
