Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

This part-time role emphasizes customer service excellence, safety, and teamwork. You will engage with customers and leadership in a fast-paced retail environment, helping ensure a welcoming store experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
